Amdocs MarketONE
Connecting subscription services to resellers

Amdocs MarketONE is a platform that connects subscription services to reseller storefronts. It's designed to facilitate partnerships between organizations on the network, enable partners to create agreements with settlement models, and generate insights and analytics. Between the “Merchant” and the “Reseller” is a set of APIs designed for quick onboarding and developer integration.
I led the design of the MarketONE MVP, helped integrate it with a newly built design system, and created a North Star vision for the product.
Organizations and products depicted in mock-ups are for example purposes only and do not necessarily represent organizations and products on the platform.

Design System
Before we set out to build the UI, we talked to customers already using the APIs in order to understand the full scope and process of forming these partnerships, as well as important considerations when deciding who to partner with.
We devised the core features of Partnerships, Products, and Agreements around what we learned with workflows for project managers, developers, and IT admins in mind.
We were driven to launch an MVP with these features at the centre so we could start to iterate based on customer feedback. In late 2022 there was a company-wide initiative to integrate our products with the newly released Amdocs Design System, and we were able to update the components, colours, and typography to follow the new system in a few months leading up to the MVP launch. Insights and analytics were an integral part of the product that wasn't part of the MVP, but would immediately follow it, so I designed a North Star vision with these included, as well as proposals to evolve the design system, so we could hit the ground running.
An insightful homepage
The Home page features an overview of report data followed by top performing partners and products. For Merchants, a minimal notification feature is added to surface Partnership requests and Agreement proposals for added visibility. The page was designed to be flexible so more insights and features could be added in the future, such as recommended partners.

Making it easy to create partnerships
Everything starts with Resellers discovering partners – beginning on the Discover page where Merchants on the network are arranged in a filterable grid view that lead to detail pages that showcase Merchants and their products. Resellers can request a partnership, and if accepted, additional access and the ability to enter into agreements is granted.

Measuring partner performance
Partners tells the story of partnerships through data derived from agreements. The organization's profile (including Products), seen during the discovery flow, remains accessible from the top of the page.

The shape and size of products
Digital subscriptions come in a number of shapes and sizes that are accommodated through Products and Product Items. Create Product page was designed to be highly readable while reducing cognitive load, and provides flexibility for evolving customer needs.

Creating settlement models for products
A simple Agreements feature was included in the MVP and is represented in my designs for version 1.1 that focused on creating settlements for Product Items.

The MVP launched in early 2023 and we received positive feedback from existing customers, highlighting that they found it easy to use. Insights and analytics were integrated throughout the product in the months that followed.
